Account Executive - Finland

UpCloud is looking for an Account Executive to join our global Sales team in our Helsinki office. You’ll be joining a team responsible for UpCloud’s customer acquisition efforts and new revenue growth. Your role will be to perform high-value B2B sales to acquire new businesses for UpCloud in Finland. 


We’re looking for a tenured sales professional, who already has multiple years of experience from high-value tech sales, and demonstrated experience for bringing in new logos to their business. To be successful in this role, you are someone who takes responsibility for their work and results, and solves problems proactively and creatively. 


Responsibilities:

  • Bringing in new needle-moving cloud workloads from well-defined and select target accounts through consultative sales and deep relationships built with the C-suite

  • Building trustful relationships and understanding client needs deeply through proactive outbound efforts into a couple of dozen key accounts (FI SaaS SMBs mainly)

  • Ensuring excellent sales hygiene by managing sales leads and key decision-maker interactions in our CRM (HubSpot)

  • Proactively learning about UpCloud’s expanding service portfolio, competitive offering, and cloud industry trends

  • Working together with more junior team members on larger deals and mentoring them


Job requirements


  • Significant experience in strategic tech sales or business development, bonus for experience working with cloud, B2B tech or SaaS products on a hunter role

  • A degree in Business, Tech or other relevant field

  • Native in Finnish, with excellent English skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
