Business Development Manager - ASEAN

Job description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our global Sales team in our Singapore office. Your role will be to perform B2B sales to acquire new businesses for UpCloud in the ASEAN region. We’re looking for an individual with a can-do attitude and builder mentality, who takes pride in owning their work and results. You’ll be joining a team responsible for UpCloud’s customer acquisition efforts and new revenue growth. The team focuses on EU and ASEAN markets, meaning that you will have colleagues in the Helsinki office. The team is continuously iterating its way of doing things, meaning that you’ll get the opportunity to improve our processes, give feedback on playbooks and innovate new ways to succeed.   • Day-to-day targeting, soliciting, and closing of new business customers through programmatic outbound prospecting, social selling, and inbound leads.

  • Identify, reach, and engage key decision-makers.

  • Update lead statuses and all prospect interactions in our CRM (HubSpot).

  • Proactively learn UpCloud’s products, competitive products, and marketing knowledge via the website, online webinars, and other coaching material.

  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices, including the utilization of new technology and web resources.

Job requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in tech sales or business development, bonus for experience working with cloud or SaaS products on a hunter role.

  • Fluency in English

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Familiarity CRM practices and hygienic sales processes

  • Singaporean / Permanent Resident; Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor a work permit for this role. We will only consider applicants who are eligible to work in Singapore. The team works in a hybrid model with an emphasis on remote work.
