Here at UpCloud you'll be working on the top of the funnel, generating quality leads through cold outreach efforts and performing sales conversions. Also, you'll be working with top notch tools for lead search, list building and outreach. Our brand recognition is increasing in global markets and our cloud is known as one of the best performing with highly competitive pricing.


We are looking for a Finnish or Swedish speaking Business Development Manager to join our Demand Generation team in our Helsinki office. Your role will be to perform B2B outbound sales to acquire new businesses for UpCloud into the Nordics region.


Some of the things you’ll be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day targeting, soliciting, and closing of new business customers through cold calling, leveraging existing customers, inbound leads, following up on referrals, and collaborating with sales executives in other territories/ product segments.
  • Working together with our Account Executives on larger deals.
  • Update lead statuses and all prospect interactions in our CRM.
  • Proactively learn UpCloud’s products, competitive products, and marketing knowledge via the website, online webinars, and other coaching material.
  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices, including the utilization of new technology and web resources.

Job requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (tech outbound sales) - some experience working with cloud or SaaS products will be a huge plus.
  • Fluency in Finnish or Swedish.
  • Excellent English skills.
