At UpCloud, we are looking for an HR Administrator to join our People Operations team in Helsinki. In this role, your key responsibilities consist of managing our overall global payroll operations and other HR administrative tasks. Your main focus will be on coordinating, leading and managing our payroll and HR reporting processes in Finland and globally.
You will report directly to the Head of People Operations and work closely with the other members of the team. A crucial part of your monthly reporting responsibilities will also be to operate in close contact with the Finance team. You will play a vital role in coordinating and managing our outsourced payroll partners, as well as developing our payroll and HR reporting to the next level. In addition, you will be providing needed HR-related reporting to management.
Currently, the whole People Operations team is based in Helsinki and working in a hybrid model, enjoying the freedom of remote work with the possibility to benefit from our newly renovated office in the heart of Helsinki (with a rooftop terrace and sauna facilities, of course!).
Your main responsibility is to prepare all necessary materials so payroll processes can run smoothly and timely across our organisation.
Preparing payroll materials and coordinating the work of our external payroll providers in Finland and abroad
Developing and optimising all payroll process-related processes
Assisting in developing compensation models
Cooperate with internal stakeholders such as the finance team
Contributing to various HR reporting needs
You will be supporting our People Operations department with a wide range of administrative tasks such as:
Monitor key recruiting metrics (e.g. turnover and retention rates, time to hire etc.) and create reports and presentations regularly
Preparing and providing reports for supporting decision-making through HR metrics
Coordinate and participate in HR compliance projects
Update internal databases (e.g. organise, update and maintain personnel records)
Prepare HR documents (e.g. policy development and revision, employment contracts, etc.)
Answer employees' queries and requests about HR-related issues
Handle a variety of other operative HR-tasks
Our view is that to be successful in this role, you should have:
Relevant work experience with HR Administrative tasks
Experience and understanding of HR metrics and processing HR data
BSc. in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or similar field
Hands-on experience in HR reporting & payroll processes
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Fluency in Finnish and English both written and spoken, Swedish skills are beneficial
