Mid/Senior Software Engineer (Go) - build our new container platform

Brand new, dedicated team. Greenfield project. Developing what will become our second core product - a container platform built on top of a global infrastructure provider.

That's how your new role as a Software Engineer will look like at UpCloud. Your experience with managed containers orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) will be crucial as you'll help us build a platform to deploy containers that will impact thousands of users and customers globally.


We believe you'll succeed in this role if you've had the chance to work with similar technologies and environments before. Meaning that you'll thrive here if you are a mid-level/senior developer with a strong technical background and if you are a "systems thinker", part sysadmin, part developer.


This role can be performed from our new office in the heart of Helsinki or fully remotely anywhere in Europe. If you have the right to work in Finland and you want to relocate to Helsinki, you are welcome to apply too.

Job requirements

  • Solid agile software development experience, particularly with Go.
  • Experience setting up and running Kubernetes in production environments.
