UpCloud is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our global team in our Helsinki office or from a remote location. In your role you would be responsible for developing and, with a hands-on attitude, executing product marketing strategies to drive the success of our solutions. To succeed you’re going to collaborate with our cross-functional teams to define product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans, that align with our overall business objectives.


Your Challenges:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that drive adoption, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct market research and analyze customer insights to identify market opportunities, competitive landscape, and target audience segments.

  • Define product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with target customers and differentiate our products from competitors.

  • Collaborate with product management, sales, and marketing teams to create go-to-market plans, including pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and sales enablement materials.

  • Manage the product launch process, ensuring effective cross-functional coordination and alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and manage product content, including website copy, product collateral and thought leadership pieces.

  • Collaborate with our business units and the marketing team to create collateral such as case studies, infographics, videos, etc, for sales.

  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and continuously optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • In the future potentially lead and mentor a small team of product marketing managers, providing guidance and support to drive their professional growth and success.

Job requirements

  • Knowledge and genuine interest towards the cloud industry
  • Proven experience in product marketing, with a demonstrated success in launching and growing products in a competitive market.
  • Deep understanding of market research, customer insights, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and techniques.
